Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Admissions in Gujarat (2025)

1. Admission Eligibility

For Government & Grant-in-Aid Institutions (95% Seats) and Unaided Institutions (50% Seats):

Candidates must have completed their qualifying education from a recognized board in Gujarat.
Appearing for GUJCET-2025 is mandatory.

For Remaining 5% Seats in Government & Grant-in-Aid Institutions:

Admission will be based on the All India Rank (AIR) from JEE (Main) 2025, as declared by NTA.

2. Minimum Qualification

Candidates must have passed HSC (12th standard) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
The subjects must align with AICTE-prescribed criteria, which can be checked at ACPC Gujarat Official Website.

3. Merit Calculation & Selection Process

For 95% Government & Grant-in-Aid Seats and 50% Unaided Seats:

Merit will be based on:
- 50% weightage from the Theory Percentile of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or Biology for eligible courses).
- 50% weightage from GUJCET-2025 percentile in corresponding subjects.

For 5% All India Seats in Government & Grant-in-Aid Institutions:

Admission is based solely on JEE (Main) 2025 All India Rank (AIR).

4. Registration Process & Important Dates

Last Date for Online Registration: 20th May 2025 (Before 5 PM).
Registration Fee: ₹350/- (Non-Refundable) – Payable online only.
Candidates must upload all required documents during the online registration process.
